Electronic Publishing
The list below is supposed to give you a detailed impression of the respective steps in
creating an application for CD-ROM or internet using Neuroconsult's Publishing Software Web2CD™ 2.0. Any CD-ROM which was created
using Web2CD™ 2.0 is applicable in Windows 95 or NT 4 or higher. You can retrieve any of the
internet applications created with Web2CD™ 2.0 in the internet or intranet, using whatever web
browser you wish.
This section describes on what kind of data basis CD-ROM and internet applications can be
created. Web2CD™ 2.0 builds up on internet standards only, so that a great number of the most
different sources of data can be processed to create searchable CD-ROMs or internet
applications. more...
This section describes the preprocessing process in relation to the complexity of the
application to be created. The effort required to prepare the data can be determined in
relation to the quality, format and the degree of the internal linkage of the data. more...
In this section we will show you how very simple and flexible the user interface design of
Web2CD™ 2.0 is in HTML. Web2CD™ 2.0 is based on the currently latest Internet Explorer of
Microsoft, thereby offering automatically the full range of currently valid HTML (incl.
JavaScript, Java, CSS, Flash, PDF etc.). more...
With Web2CD™ 2.0 you can create a shopping basket or a note-it function. The inventory of
all data will always be on the local hard drive of the user, which makes a costly data base
management on an internet server redundant. The function of the shopping basket can of course
be linked to existing data bases or order systems via the internet. more...
Web2CD™ 2.0 is made up along two different lines. This means that any CD-ROM created using
Web2CD™ 2.0 can be transmitted to an internet server and be retrieved by any standard browser,
including all of the CD-ROM's functions (recherche, shopping basket, export to Word and Excel
etc.). This is also possible vice versa, i.e. any internet presentation created by using
Web2CD™ 2.0 can be transmitted directly to CD-ROM without the necessity of any additional
efforts. more...
